Can we put our logo on the ballot page? How do I do that?

One of the benefits of our paid subscription plans is that you can customize the header your voters will see, including your logo.  Customization is disabled for free subscriptions.

If you have a paid subscription, you can change that customization at any time:

  • log into your Admin account
  • click on your name in the upper right corner of the window
  • click on BallotBox Settings
  • click the Appearance tab.

If Customization is disabled, BallotBox will use its own header logo (the "jaunty" checkbox), your BallotBox URL name, and then the word BallotBox.  For example, if your BallotBox customer home page were https://example.ballotboxonline.com, your heading with customization disabled would be:

With Customization enabled, the "Example" customer could replace "Example BallotBox" with any other "Account Name" text.  In the screenshot above, you can see the text "Voter Experience Demo" is inserted.

You can also use BallotBox's standard logo or you can use a custom logo.

If you upload your own custom logo, follow these guidelines:

  • select a Portable Network Graphics (.PNG) format image, with a transparent background
  • the image must not be wider than 480 pixels; if it is, BallotBox will automatically reduce its size
  • the image must not be taller than 40 pixels (60 pixels, if you check the Use tall header option); if it is, BallotBox will automatically reduce its size

Once you have made your changes, you must click the Save button to keep them.
